Cable Car:

A cable car is a large alternative type of transport, which uses rail cars, that are held in place by a moving cable that runs at a constant speed. Cable cars normally move and halt buy releasing and clenching this specific cable. Modern cable cars are fully automatic enabling them to run on their own reserved right of way and are usually referred to as people movers.

  1. Also, have a look at the cable cars that take skiers up and down mountains - you would then have scope for suspending your pirate high above the ground!
