I thought that it would be wise to base my essay on the same film that I would use as guidance for my one minute sketched storyboard. I have chosen to base both these tasks on the Blair Witch Project (1999), which was directed by Daniel Myrick; the overall combination of shots, angles and effects itself creates uniqueness within this film and also films in general. It also clearly has shown the purpose of why these shots are constructed in this particular way and the effects it has upon its viewers, which make it a good example for studying and sketching.
