René Laloux

René Laloux (1929 - 2004) was a French animator and film director, who began animating as an experiment, after creating a couple of animations he made his famous animated feature, which is called ‘Fantastic Planet’. This film is most recognised for its uniquely drawn animation; it has been created in an artistic way; it has a thought through composition, which shows excellent use of two dimensional space, whilst driving the imaginative creativity and expressionism through the animation.
